Why we verify age
Braxell sells age-restricted products. By UK law, we must verify that all customers are 18 or over before completing a purchase and before delivery. Our goal is to make this as quick and secure as possible while preventing underage sales.

  • At checkout, you may see a secure AgeChecker.net pop‑up to confirm your age.
  • Most customers are verified instantly using trusted data sources. This is a “soft check” for age only and does not affect your credit score.
  • If AgeChecker.net cannot verify you automatically, you will be prompted to upload a photo of a valid government‑issued ID and a selfie to match your identity.
  • Once verified, your future orders will usually be approved automatically when using the same details.

What information is needed

  • Full name, billing address, and date of birth may be used for automatic checks.
  • If manual verification is needed, you may be asked for a photo of one of the following:

  • Braxell does not store your ID images on our servers. We receive only the pass/fail result and any necessary reference to complete your order.

When verification happens

  • Verification occurs during checkout before payment is captured or order is dispatched.
  • In rare cases, couriers may request age proof on delivery (Challenge 25) if the recipient appears under 25.

If you fail verification

  • Double‑check that your name, address, and date of birth are correct and match your official records (e.g., driving licence, electoral roll).

  • If you cannot complete verification, your order will be cancelled and refunded.
